At long last, I've gotten out shooting again. While Don was here, we took a mini-roadtrip out to Solvang and Lompoc. The day started out rainy, but cleared up in the afternoon, giving me a perfect blue sky for this shot.
Oh, and I'm starting to make friends with my Lensbaby. :)

The Pearl
Neon signs are another perennial interest of mine. Now that I'm shooting digital, it's a lot easier to get good results, because I can see it as I shoot.
New Orleans has a wealth of neon, ranging from nostalgic to raunchy. I'll be posting more neon shots as I work through this project.
