I can never keep all those flower parts straight.
Yesterday was definitely the day to photograph these flowers. The wind has been blowing since last night, and now almost all of the flowers are gone. The leaves are coming on the tree, and soon there will be baby apricots.

At the Cafe Degas in New Orleans. Dan, Donna, Scott and I took a break from shooting in the cemetary, and had a lovely and refreshing lunch on their enclosed porch. This dessert might have actually been called Bread Pudding, but it's texture was more like a souffle.
No trip to New Orleans is complete without a trip (or two, or six...) to Cafe du Monde for beignets and coffee with chickory. I can take or leave the chickory in my coffee, but the beignets are not to be missed.
Since we had ample opportunity to observe the operations at Cafe du Monde, we can tell you that they are in dire need of a workflow analysis. We'd be happy to do the job; they can pay us in beignets! :)
