The images in this alphabet series were created by placing the objects directly on a flatbed scanner. I originally started this project in photo school, quite a while ago, and finally finished it last year, thanks to Anne's A-B-C-Along.
I grabbed my camera for a quick shoot on the kitchen counter, while I was making my afternoon cup of tea. The light in the kitchen in the afternoon is very tempting, and Dan had just brought home some tulips for me.
These are growing in the little patch right below my dryer vent - in soil that is hard as a rock,parched all the time, and in which almost nothing will grow. Three cheers for tenacious wildflowers!
